My daughter has been dancing with Nielsen School of Dance since she was around preschool age. I wouldn't take her anywhere else. The teachers are amazing with the kids of all ages. The older girls are fantastic role models for the younger kids, it is like a huge family. I always know when I take my girl to dance that she is well cared for and loved like a family member. The teachers and directors do their very best to choose costumes that are current, cute, but also modest so our kids don't have their whole bodies showing, from the littlest all the way up to our oldest performers. As a mom I truly appreciate this.

Love this studio. My daughter has danced with them since she was 3. Her growth and love of dance has amazed me. They teach responsibility and respect for themselves and others. Supporting each other through the whole season. ❤️

My daughter has danced for Nielsens for 3 full years now and has loved every minute of it. We originally started dance because her OT therapist recommended dance for motor planning issues my daughter had. Going into this Jazlyn knew of her struggles and was always so helpful and patient with her. She’s improved so much and even graduated from OT last year. We are so thankful to be part of an amazing dance family and extra thankful for Jazlyn and her patience and love for all her dance girls.

Nielsen School of Dance isn’t a place I would recommend sending your child to. They are all about the money they can make off of you. We had a rough year and had to pull my daughter out of dance due to not being able to afford their monthly fee anymore. They didn’t care about the situation or my daughter they were just worried about when they could get the money.

We have been part of the studio for 2 years now and our daughter loves it. She has so much fun with the teachers and older dancers who help with classes. She looks forward to going every time and is bummed when she has to miss. Their costumes are appropriate and modest along with their dances and song choices. Highly recommend them!

Great studio with wonderful and caring staff. It seems the few 1 stars reviews are from the same family who were upset they couldn't stay to watch. That's the standard in almost every dance studio. Slamming a business because you didn't get your way is just childish. Unless it is observation week, you drop your child off for class and pick them back up. It teaches independence and let's them focus. I danced for 20 years and now my children do- when parents stay in the room, the kids do not pay attention as they do when parents are gone.Their focus is not on the teacher, it is on their adult that they are now looking for approval from. I don't know any studio that does that. You don't stay for their preschool or 5k, why would this classroom be any different? This studio is consistent with their rules and as someone who has watched other studios be wishy washy on their standards, I very much appreciate a no-nonsense business that doesn't cater to someone just because they don't like your policy. Keep your standards- Always!
