About
We're building the
home of Latin dance.
Bailar is a small team — and a lot of dancers — building the platform the community has always deserved. Real events, real studios, real instructors, no nonsense.
Latin dance in America has always been bigger than the apps built around it. For decades, the way you found out about a social was through a flyer at the studio, a screenshot in your group chat, or a friend remembering the name of a venue. The community held the network in its head.
Why now
We started indexing studios in early 2026 and realized: there are nearly 7,000 Latin dance studios in the United States, collectively running 20,000+ upcoming events. And almost none of them lived in one place a dancer could trust.
We built Bailar because the community already does the work. Studios already schedule. Instructors already teach. Dancers already RSVP, photograph, share, review. There just wasn't a place where all of that lived together — with the respect for the music, the styles, and the people that the dance deserves.
What we're doing differently
No paid placements. The events you see are the events that exist. Featured slots are earned through dancer engagement, not bought.
Verified instructors only. Every instructor on the marketplace is reviewed by hand — credentials, references, and reels. We say no often. The badge means something.
Built around how studios actually run. Drop-ins, socials, congresses, instructor collaborations, recurring weekly classes — the rhythm of a studio, not a generic fitness app.
The community owns the data. Public profiles are opt-out. Reviews are dated and tied to confirmed attendance. You can delete your account and your data goes with you.
Where we're going
Bailar is a long-term project. The first year is about getting the floor covered: every studio, every event, every style. The next is about connection: instructors building reputation, studios growing across cities, dancers finding their people in new places. After that — well, the dance will tell us.
If you want to be part of it, start by getting on the list. We'll let you know the day Bailar lands on the App Store and Google Play.
