I come once a month to Bring Yourself: Movement Improv with Bonita. I can fully heartedly say, I absolutely love the class, other students, and studio. As a complete beginner to dance, this class has been the perfect way to introduce myself to dance. I never feel judged and only supported by the Hartford Dance Collective. I recommend the studio to anyone who is a pro at dance or beginner. Good parking + variety of classes for all ages.

Bonita's teaching style is warm, friendly and welcoming; facilitating an improvisation dance class that supports all types of movers. It's something I look forward to each month.

I had an amazing time at this studio. It was my first time there and my first time taking a class after fracturing my knee. The atmosphere was welcoming, and so were the other dancers. The teacher, Rosanna was fantastic. Her vibe and teaching style are what will make me come back to take more classes.

I have not danced in formal classes like this since I was 16 and really committed to a studio since the age of 3, and the two classes I've taken in the past week have me sold! I'll be here at least once per week moving forward. The teachers do a great job of catering the class to the level of the room, and the different levels of classes is also great, I strongly recommend!

What makes this class so amazing rests solely on the instructor, Chantal. She is the most delightful, encouraging and supportive dance instructor I have ever had. I am by far the oldest one in the class by a few decades but neither she nor the other women in the class make me feel silly. I kind of like that these young women are seeing someone in their 60s trying to learn hip hop! I am there to learn new dance moves to add to my west coast swing repertoire and she makes it perfectly clear that we are all there to just move and have fun. I had to take a break due to a knee injury, but am so glad to be back with her.

Took a heels class and had a blast! The class was very beginner friendly but also moved fast enough to keep things interesting. Loved our teacher as well. Incredible vibes. 10/10
