  Maggie is a kind and inspiring teacher and wellspring of creativity. In her introductory drawing class (Learning how to See!) we were given tools to slow down, release artistic inhibition, practice hand-eye coordination, and really look at the world we were putting to paper. Maggie is a fun and helpful instructor and invites student’s interests over rigid structure.

  To take a drawing class at Wingspan feels like stepping into a studio where curiosity is mandatory. Maggie teaches like a free spirit—guiding rather than directing, nudging toward discovery instead of answers. Her critiques were unexpected, honest, and strangely perfect. The class reminded me that art is supposed to be alive! Maggie's teaching style felt less like instruction and more like an invitation—to see differently, to slow down, and to see the shapes in everything! She teaches with openness, encouraging risk, experimentation, and intention. Maggie is a generous spirit and deeply respectful of each student's voice. As a Christmas gift to my own home, I purchased "Jewel of Flowers." This painting feels intimate and expressive, more about emotion than botanical accuracy. Rather than presenting flowers as precious objects, this piece feels like a moment—a summer bouquet on a table, painted quickly before the light changes. It has that Vermont-in-summer feeling: fresh, slightly wild, and deeply human - just like Maggie. Elle est la meilleure de toutes!

  My daughter has attended art camp here several years in a row and absolutely loves it. The projects are so imaginative and allow kids to explore their creativity in multimedia art while also weaving in French language and time in nature. It is truly an inspiring place and experience.

  We had such a wonderful experience with summer camp at Wingspan! The opportunity for my daughter to be surrounded by creativity in a welcoming environment was a fantastic cap to her summer. So glad we discovered Maggie and her programs!

  My daughter loves Wingspan’s French & art camp! It’s her absolute favorite camp of the Summer & she looks forward to it each year (just finished her 5th year of camp w/ Maggie!)! The space & freedom she is given for creativity & exploration is wonderful! Plus she gets to learn some French - it’s all a win for our family!

  My kiddo had a blast. Maggie and Jenn were wonderful! It was one of our favorite camps and then end of the week talent show was beyond adorable.
