Samba Tirada Ao Lado ("side pull-out") es una figura lateral de guía y retorno de Samba de Gafieira, la samba de salón de pareja brasileña que se baila en las gafieiras de Río de Janeiro.[1] Desde un marco cerrado, el líder saca a la seguidora de su posición frontal central hacia su lado y luego la vuelve a recoger, de modo que la pareja sigue avanzando mientras cambia su alineación lateral.[1] La figura pertenece a la familia de tirada, en la que el líder "tira" a la pareja de un lugar a otro en lugar de girarla en su sitio; salidas laterales de este tipo forman parte de los movimientos fundamentales de pareja en la samba.[2] Mecánicamente, las parejas mantienen una pisada espejo — cuando el líder abre a su izquierda, la seguidora refleja con su derecha — de modo que ella se desplaza a través del frente hacia el mismo lado físico sin colisionar.[3] La acción aprovecha el rebote de la samba, la flexión elástica de abajo hacia arriba de la pierna de apoyo que lleva el acento de contratempo del estilo.[2] El tiempo sigue la medida de 2/4 del baile, el desplazamiento establecido sobre un ritmo lento‑rápido‑rápido.[4] Como la mayor parte del material de gafieira, se improvisa dentro de la línea de viaje en lugar de coreografiarse, exigiendo habilidad en la pista para despejar a las parejas vecinas.[1] El movimiento se difundió desde los salones de baile de mediados del siglo XX de Río hacia escuelas de samba de gafieira en todo Brasil y, más tarde, en comunidades internacionales.[1]

Líder
From a closed frame on the samba contratempo, the leader marks the basic, then opens the frame to his left and draws the follower laterally out of her central front position toward his side — leading the displacement through frame and body, never an arm yank. He keeps the down-up bounce on every step and re-collects her to closed position to resolve, all kept within his line of travel.
Seguidor
Mirroring with the opposite foot, the follower yields to the lateral draw and travels across the front toward the leader's side, stepping to her right as he opens left and covering most of the displacement over the quick-quick of the measure while keeping her own bounce. She reorients at most ~¼ turn as the frame guides her — a small, staged adjustment, not a turn of her own initiative — then returns to closed position on the resolution, never anticipating the pull.
Tiempo musicalSits comfortably in mid-tempo samba de gafieira and choro, roughly 100–130 bpm (2/4); the lateral draw stays clean through that band. Slower partido-alto sambas give room to stretch the pull-out, while above ~140 bpm the travel compresses and the figure is usually simplified.

Errores comunes
- Leader hauling the follower sideways with arm strength instead of leading the displacement through the frame and body
- Losing the samba bounce/contratempo and dancing the side step flat-footed
- Follower anticipating the side draw and stepping before the lead arrives
- Under-displacing — failing to clear far enough to the side, so the figure reads as a plain basic
- Collapsing the closed frame, which severs the lateral lead
- Neglecting floorcraft and crowding adjacent couples while moving laterally
