  I decided I can't try something new by saying no. You can schedule an intro lesson which is free I believe. It's more of an icebreaker which was nice and I won't ruin the experience here... jump in. After, we got one of the packages; a couple of private lessons + a couple of group lessons + a couple of in-house "parties". Good vibes and very supportive. Met people right away and got the scoop on some local dinner & dance shannaagins :)

  I was honestly surprised at the professionalism and skill of the instructors at Arthur Murray in St. Augustine!!! As a former professional ballet dancer who has taken dance lessons since I could walk I have a new found respect for the ballroom community, especially the studio here in my hometown- Saint Augustine. The instructors will meet you where you are - from beginner to expert level. You will be challenged and inspired as you learn for social dancing or competitive level goals as a dancer. Do not miss out on this gem located in the heart of St. Augustine- you will not be disappointed!

  When my husband and I started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted an extraordinary first dance. Our song, “Apricot Princess,” features a mix of violin, viola, bass, drums, and cello, creating a unique pop-rock/hip hop hybrid. We needed a choreographed routine that captured both the sensual slow moments and the lively fast sections. We took five lessons with our talented instructor, Yulia. Not only did she choreograph our dance, but she also helped us select sections of the song to cut, keeping our first dance around two minutes. Yulia was professional and friendly, and we knew we were in good hands. On our wedding day, our first dance went off without a hitch. Many guests told us it was the best first dance they’d ever seen. Thank you, Yulia, for teaching us the Bachata; we felt confident and proud performing in front of our family and friends. If you’re looking for a dance instructor, we highly recommend Yulia and Ilia at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio!
