We loved learning here! Leigh is extremely knowledgeable and breaks down the dance to the fundamentals and we were able to understand and pick it up quickly! Can't wait to go again!

Leigh is horrible and unprofessional. We hired her to choreograph our first dance for our wedding. We prepaid for 5 lessons. She was over 30 minutes late to two sessions. She rescheduled one lesson the same day. On our final lesson, the week of the wedding, she canceled on us the same day again because she said she had jet lag. Terrible experience working with the Cincinnati Ballroom Company. It was a huge waste of time and money. It’s very upsetting to be so let down by someone you trust with something so important to you.

    Response from Cincinnati Ballroom Company

Hi Isabele, This wedding took place in August of 2024, so the timing of this review was surprising to see. I would like to clarify that I did not cancel your final lesson. I reached out only to ask if you were available to adjust the day or time. Rather than confirming your availability, you requested a refund, which I processed and returned to you immediately so that you would not be financially impacted. At that point, the matter was fully resolved. Weddings are emotional and high-pressure experiences. I made a conscious choice to respond with professionalism, understanding, and respect, as I believe that is how business should always be conducted, especially in sensitive moments. For over 20 years, I have built my business on care, accountability, and genuine connection. My goal has always been to help couples feel confident, supported, and joyful as they prepare for one of the most meaningful days of their lives, even when unexpected life or scheduling challenges arise. While I regret that your experience is remembered negatively, I acted promptly, fairly, and professionally in addressing your request. I wish you continued happiness and peace moving forward. Sincerely, Leigh

Our surprise choreographed first dance was a highlight of the wedding, and working with Leigh in the weeks leading up to the big day was so fun! I couldn’t recommend enough. If you’re thinking about taking pre-wedding lessons with Cincinnati Ballroom Company, do it!

    Response from Cincinnati Ballroom Company

Thank you so much, Jenna! It was such a joy helping you both create your first dance - you both brought so much energy and love to every lesson. I'm thrilled it became one of the highlights of your wedding day! Wishing you a lifetime of laughter, dancing, and happy memories together!!!

We reached out to Leigh with a big ask... we wanted to do a mash-up of a traditional slow song into a surprise fast paced fully choreographed ballroom number for the first dance at our wedding. Neither of us had any dance experience but we wanted fairly advanced choreo that we could practice on our own to get it down. We did 5 lessons in total with their "first dance" package and we had the entire ~3.5 minutes choreographed by the end of the third lesson! It would be an understatement to say that our friends & family were blown away - it was all anybody could talk about for the rest of the night! I could not recommend Cincinnati Ballroom Company more highly!

    Response from Cincinnati Ballroom Company

Thank you so much, Daniel! I absolutely loved working with you and Jenna on your mash-up - it was such a creative and bold idea, and you both brought incredible energy to every lesson. Seeing it all come together so quickly (and hearing how much your guests loved it!) made it even more rewarding. Congratulations again on an unforgettable first dance!! ( I still think about that lift at the end!!!!!!)

My husband and I have no dance experience whatsoever. Reached out to them on a whim the week of our wedding. Spoke with Lee - who is amazing. In less than an hour we had learned our dance (basic but for 2 people with no experience - our wedding guests were shocked). I would recommend them to anyone, and look forward to possibly going back for other lessons in the future. I wish I could post a video of our lesson. Best I can do is a picture of our dip lol.

    Response from Cincinnati Ballroom Company

Thank you so much, Kayden! I’m so glad your wedding guests enjoyed your dance. It was a pleasure meeting both of you! Congratulations and hope to see you soon!

We had the pleasure of working with Cincinnati Ballroom Company, specifically with our instructor Leigh Bradshaw, to choreograph our first dance for our wedding, and it was an experience beyond our expectations. Leigh did an outstanding job teaching us our Viennese Waltz, balancing challenge with encouragement, and making the process both enjoyable and rewarding. One of the standout features of Cincinnati Ballroom Company is their beginner-friendly approach. While I had some dance background from my youth, my husband had no prior dance experience. Despite this, Leigh expertly tailored our lessons, building our skills and confidence over seven sessions spanning about five months. Our friends and family were genuinely blown away by our surprise first dance. What sets Cincinnati Ballroom Company apart is the emphasis on personal effort and dedication. If you put in the practice time and actively engage in each lesson, the results are nothing short of fabulous. We left each session not only with improved dance skills but also with the joy of discovering a new connection and shared hobby as a couple. Our first dance will forever be etched in our memories as one of the most special moments of our wedding reception, and we owe this unforgettable experience to Leigh's expertise and guidance. Thank you, Cincinnati Ballroom Company, for providing us with such a delightful experience!
