  This is a building of "spaces", or big rooms for rent. They have dance studio rooms for groups needing temporary or year around practice space. Their prices are fair. The building is well maintained, and clean. It's right off of St. Charles Ave in a decent neighborhood.

  Great venue. It's set-up very classy and stylish. There's an upstairs area with 3 LARGE dance studios, but I'm not sure if they are for rent. The staff was REALLY easy to work with. They allowed us to utilize some of their kitchen utensils and hand towels. They are affordable and will include chairs and tables for a nominal additional cost. The facility is wheelchair accessible, including bathrooms.

  Yeah this place sucks. Event was ruined by another ongoing scheduled event that we were told was supposed to have ended. Would never recommend anyone ever renting out this space. Definitely taking it off my venue listing for work.

  If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Whoever is in charge of scheduling needs to be let go immediately. I attended the premier of the short film Wild (Her). The film was showed on the bottom floor of the venue. Upstairs there was what can only be described as a full circus with millions of people in attendance. This movie which was over a years worth of time and work was partially ruined by the constant shaking of the ceiling. The projector that the movie was showing on did not stop bounching throughout the film. On top of that, the audio was nearly non-existent as it was drowned out by the crashing and banging in the room above. This was pure gross incompetence by the staff and owners of the venue. I can only hope the group that put on the showing can receive some of their money back from renting the space. I will never attend another event at this venue for this reason.

  I apologize it took a few days to respond to your feedback, but I really wanted to consider your review. Your comments will lead to a clearer statement in our rental agreements and contracts that silence is only guaranteed if the entire building (including the three studios on the second floor) are rented. I do appreciate the opportunity to look more fully into ELLEvate Dance Company, its mission and goals, and the love they have of dance, more specifically the goals of WILD(her) and its exploration of the wild woman archetype. What a dynamic, important group to have in a space that is used so frequently by female and female identifying dancers of all ages finding their wild. I believe asking more questions before booking will lead to a better understanding of how to facilitate events out of our usual scope of rental expertise. I would never let go a member of staff based on a scheduling complaint, as on reduced hours due to COVID lockdown, and now in troubling, constantly changing and unsettling times, each member of the NOLA Spaces team is committed to providing a safe, kind space for our creative community and event rentals day in, day out. I'm sorry we weren't a good fit for your experience.
