Fred Astaire Dance Studio Greensboro makes my day brighter every time I enter the doors. The professional staff and instructors are extremely talented and welcoming, making your first lesson or 100th a wonderful learning experience. Besides this, FADS dancing is great for mental and physical health, and making new friends. Want more joy? Here’s the place. Highly recommend!

Considering learning to dance? Do it! No partner necessary. This studio is a friendly, welcoming place. My husband & I walked in with absolutely no dance experience. Several years later we enjoy dancing several times a week. We enjoy the private & group lessons, the parties, the showcases & even the occasional competition. Come dance, you won’t regret it! As an update to my earlier review, we are both still very much enjoying our ballroom dance hobby! We continue to learn new choreography, meet new friends & are about to dance in a local competition! This dance studio is a special place where everyone is welcome.

When you read: The Happiest, Friendliest Spot in town - Believe It! This dance studio feels like a wellness retreat, where you learn to dance, make new friends and feel rejuvenated after every lesson. No matter your age, your size, your relationship status, the day you had -YOU WON'T REGRET stepping foot into this place. From the moment I started there, I knew that this is what I would like to do. The instructors are all professionals with lots of knowledge and humor. It feels like one big dance family. They teach you at your pace - you are not competing with anybody, and it is scientifically proven, that dance will keep your mind and body young. AND the music is just fantastic - you can't just be there and not feeling happy and energized. Not convinced yet? Let me know and you will be my guest and leave with a smile on your face.

The Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Greensboro is truly one of the most remarkable business models I have ever experienced. The professional instructors are world class dancers from Ukraine and other parts of the world. Their talent is only exceeded by their professionalism and kindness. Their passion and love of dance is apparent from the moment you step foot into the Studio. To watch them dance is an incredible joy. The look on the instructor’s faces when they teach students is amazing, they are always smiling and encouraging. Whether you are there to learn a wedding dance, to simply become a decent social dancer, or to compete in national competitions, they have the program for you. I love showcases, where a song and style of dance is selected and a world renowned choreographer helps design a specific dance just for you to be shown locally at a Showcase or at a National Competition, is magical. After twenty years of dancing, at 77 year young, I have found a creative outlet I never knew existed, a community of dear friends, a second family, the opportunity to travel the world and dance in some of the most beautiful places one can only dream about. Fun, health, relationships, creativity, inspiration, exercise, growth, and self awareness are only a few of the incredible benefits I have gained from my association with the Fred Astaire Greensboro Studio. I call it my “adult sandbox”!
