Local GuideGoogleMy now husband and I contacted ZIND Academy for dance classes for our wedding which was this past weekend. We were paired with Devu Kumar and she was great! We had 2 in-person sessions with Devu. During the first session, we learned 1 minute of the dance. During the second session, we learned the next 2 minutes. Devu helped us choose songs and made up the choreography + the 3-min dance mix. She was patient with us and very encouraging, professional and most importantly...fun! Everyone loved our dance. Local GuideGoogleYes, I read the description of the place and what I thought it might entail. But I don’t think I was fully prepared for this incredible this amazing sister (Nina), and her partner who owns this business and the choreographed dance prepared for this particular class. I loved the versatility of the group there; clearly, every culture and age was represented, which made it even more fun. This is what the doctor ordered for me since I had been in my head all day about some things. Nina was one of the most encouraging, energetic, and supportive persons for this class. She made you want to push yourself to learn the choreography steps. She also let everyone know not to take themselves seriously and enjoy the dance, which I did before the class ended. Now, let me say that I always thought I had some moves. But Bollywood challenged me a bit—okay, a lot. I took a video, but it’s for my viewing pleasure; sorry. Don’t judge me. I did sent it to my girlfriends so we can book a class with Nina. Whatever you do, please do yourself a favor and book a class or try a free class to see how much fun it is and how much exercise you can get. You will not be sorry. Hats off to Nina and ZIND Performing Academy for a job well done.

GoogleI chose Zind Academy to help my friends and I coordinate our Sangeet dances and it was a life saver! The website comes with a wide variety of easy to learn dances that can be done on their own or put together for a longer dance. The dances are very easy to learn, as the instructors break it all down in parts. Anytime that I’ve had questions about billing, their customer service rep, Nina, quickly resolved my concerns. If you’re looking for a place to learn Indian/Bollywood dances, I would recommend easily recommend Zind Academy.
