  I’ve been taking classes at Mayambo for the last three months and I can honestly say that it has been really enjoyable experience. Del And Juan are wonderful instructors. They’re both super patient and receptive when asked questions. The classes can be a little fast paced, especially for people with two left feet (*ahem* me 🙋🏼‍♀️) but it’s a lovely learning experience.

  I’ve had the best experience at Mayambo. Del and JUAN are magnificent instructors: knowledgeable, diligent and patient. I’ve taken different salsa classes before but have never had the steps broken down and taught so intentionally. I look forward to advancing and getting better with future intensives.

  Mayambo is the studio to learn Salsa! Del leads with heart and passion and also breaks down the technicality of the foundations in an incredibly accessible way. Mayambo also utilizes other amazingly skilled dancers to help teach the classes so you can get that one on one experience even in a larger class size! Take beginner and you won’t find a more elegant, beautiful, and skilled teaching assistant thanJuan. Juan is the hottest teacher assistant in heels showing leads how to be strong dancers while having style

  My favorite School to learn how to dance! I learn by repetition not by being taught a new move every week. At this school, At this school you DO learn new moves every week AND you repeat what you learned the week before and you build on. The best school to learn shines and partner dancing. They do it all in one class, definitely well rounded curriculum.

  Amazing instructors who create a welcoming and judgment-free environment! I highly recommend their classes, especially if you're a beginner with dreams of doing complex Salsa moves - they'll get you there and you'll have fun along the way!
