  Incredible instructor. We’ve been taking private lessons for a couple months now and have learned quite rapidly. Oscar’s method definitely works and he makes the lessons enjoyable as well.

  Mady's Dance Factory is such a welcoming, judgment-free place to learn ballroom. The instructors and dancers create a safe, fun atmosphere where you can actually relax and enjoy yourself. They notice when someone struggles, and instead of pushing ahead, they smile, slow it down, break it into simple steps, and show endless patience. The mix of abilities in class is handled beautifully so everyone feels included. I have seen the reverse at other ballroom dance classes and it makes learning harder and takes the joy out. The structure works great: warm up together, learn steps and a sequence, then pause midway to practice or watch others before finishing strong. The instructors are extremely talented and adapt to partners of all levels. When I struggled with spins, they showed me the simple fix (smaller steps!) and it worked immediately. Carlos even danced with me on his break, saying he wouldn’t leave me standing alone — that kind of kindness goes a long way. Everyone is friendly, happy, appropriate, and genuinely there to dance. A few students are so skilled they’re a joy to watch, which adds to the energy. For me, this has become the perfect way to spend an evening instead of TV or scrolling. I’m learning quickly thanks to their format, dedication, and supportive environment. The prices are very fair, and Oscar even sends class videos the next day — it’s so encouraging to see progress I didn’t realize I’d made. They also host weekly dance socials at local venues where many students go to practice, connect, and just have fun outside of class — which makes the whole experience even more rewarding. Highly recommend Maddie’s Dance Factory if you want to learn, have fun, socialize, and get a little exercise in a truly uplifting environment.
