  We had our first private dance lesson this morning with Nathan and we had a blast! It was an easy environment to learn in, as Nathan is a great communicator and a patient encouraging person. We are looking forward to our 2nd class next week and we feel super grateful to have found Nathan as our teacher. We are beginners, and my husband thought it might be an embarrassing catastrophe, but even HE had a really great time! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  Dancing with Nathan has been a highlight in my life. Nathan has that rare combination of accomplished artist and talented teacher, inspiring me to learn and grow as a dancer and to express my own creativity through movement. Dancing with him brings me joy and reshapes the way I move through my days. He is an artist with wit, extensive knowledge of dance, patience and a kindness; all of which make him a remarkable teacher.

  I’ve taken private lessons from Nathan in many ballroom dances (smooth, rhythm, and nightclub), and his instruction has been terrific! As a student, you learn quickly that all ballroom dances involve many moving parts. Nathan is able to distill dance moves into their basic elements, which enables you to refine your technique, giving special attention to those elements in need of adjustment. His understanding of what it takes to execute the dances skillfully runs deep, and he shares that knowledge with clarity. Though on any given day he can discern what most needs attention in your dancing, he does so in a friendly, relaxed way. In addition, he listens to his students, and, as a result, his dance instruction becomes a partnership with the student. How wonderful is that?

  I have had the unique experience of learning with Nathan in 3 different areas: 1. I came to Nathan as a social dancer from another state. He asked me what I wanted to learn and then proceeded to instruct me in those areas. 2. Six months later, after watching him compete with his students and professional partner, I decided to join the competitive world. Under his tutelage, I was able to compete a year later and do very well 3. Three months later I asked a few questions and after getting the information I wanted, Nathan invited me to train under him as an instructor. Each area has its own level of training and knowledge and Nathan is able to instruct in every area. Nathan is not only kind, patient and knowledgeable, he is also supportive and listens to you so he can help YOU achieve YOUR dance goals. Whatever you’re dance goals: Social dancer, competitor or teacher trainee, Nathan is the best instructor you will find.

  I started dancing for the first time in my life, just 4.5 years ago with Nathan, to recovery from an injury. It's been the best thing I've ever gifted myself and I couldn't have found a better coach. I needed to be challenged and encouraged to push myself beyond what I thought I was capable of. And, I needed a lot of humor along the way as my body and soul healed. Nathan delivers above and beyond all of what I had even hoped for. He gives his full attemtion to all his wonderful students and has been the bond that made us all become friends. What a coach and what a team. I am so pleased to have found him. Dance is now my passion and I am forever grateful. Thank you, Coach! See you Tuesday!
