Local GuideGoogleI was very disappointed with this place. We were looking for a salsa club and google shows great atmosphere but actually there are very few Latinos that go to this place. There are a lot of nationalities which is great but not for what we were hoping for. Paid $50 to get in and we only stayed about an hour… it was pretty empty. If you’re looking for a true Latino salads club this is not it…

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t match what you were hoping for. Dance Fridays proudly serves a multicultural community, and while many of our guests are Latino, we also welcome dancers and music lovers from all backgrounds. For many people, that diversity is part of what makes the experience special—but we completely understand that some guests may be specifically looking for a venue that is predominantly or exclusively Latino, and we respect that preference. Regarding attendance, that particular weekend hosted over 1,000 guests across the event, and crowd levels can vary by room and time of night. As for pricing, advance tickets are typically $25 for live music, featuring a 10+ piece band, which we strive to keep accessible while delivering a high-quality experience. We genuinely appreciate you giving us a try and sharing your perspective. While we may not have been the right fit for what you were looking for that evening, we’re grateful you stopped by and wish you the best in finding the venue that matches your expectations. — Dance Fridays Team

Local GuideGoogleI went here for a salsa lesson before work and school picks up. It was fun, and the location was nice. The staff were very friendly, too.

Local GuideGoogleOverall, it's good. Personally, I don't like the intro bachata instructor. For me, he talks too fast, makes too many stupid jokes some of them sexist, needlessly calls out and shames beginners, and has too much self-regard. I've taken many dance lessons in many styles over many years from many instructors. For me, he's the worst I've ever seen. Everything else is great, though.

Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback. We’re glad to hear that overall you enjoyed your experience at Dance Fridays. We’re sorry to hear that the intro bachata class didn’t resonate with you. Teaching styles can vary, and what works well for some students may not be the right fit for others—especially in a high-energy, social dance environment. That said, we take feedback about class experience, inclusivity, and comfort very seriously, particularly when it comes to beginners feeling supported and welcomed. Your comments have been noted and will be reviewed with our team as we continue refining our classes to ensure they remain fun, respectful, and accessible for dancers of all levels. We truly appreciate your perspective and are glad you enjoyed the rest of the evening. We hope you’ll consider joining us again in the future (every Friday). — Dance Fridays Team

Local GuideGoogleThe BEST salsa/bachata dance club!! If you're a beginner, no problem, great lessons and way to meet other people. If you already know salsa, bachata cumbia you'll love it! Friendly place, too.

Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the music, the lessons, and the welcoming atmosphere. One of our goals at Dance Fridays is to create a space where beginners feel comfortable learning and experienced dancers feel inspired, all while making it easy to connect with others on and off the dance floor. It’s great to know that came through in your experience. We truly appreciate you being part of our community and look forward to dancing with you again soon! — Dance Fridays Team

Local GuideGoogleWent out with high hopes for a night of spicy salsa dancing—what I got was…not that. The name, advertising, and website clearly promised a salsa club, so naturally I showed up ready to dance. Shoes shined, rhythm loaded. But once inside, it became quickly apparent that "salsa" must’ve meant the dip, because there was zero salsa dancing happening. No Latin music, no dancers, no basic steps, no clave… just a DJ spinning generic club tracks and a crowd more interested in selfies than salsa. Soon after came the Mongolian rap artist! What? How did we go from salsa to Mongolian rap?? I asked the bartender about it and he said, “Yeah, no salsa tonight.” Huh? The drinks werr overpriced and it cost me $140 cover to get in, only to find realize the bait and switch. If you're hoping for cumbia, bachata, or anything even close to salsa, look elsewhere. False advertising is a killer. One star for the bar, but minus three for completely missing the mark on everything else.

The club Dance Fridays is on Friday. We're sorry for the confusion. We're really grateful you took the time to tell us about your night, and we're genuinely sorry for any confusion or letdown! Our goal is for every guest to walk in and immediately feel the energy and excitement of a true salsa club. We’re working on making the music and atmosphere match the spirit of our name every single night. Please check out our socials for upcoming themed events—we hope you'll come back, join the party, and give us another chance to get you moving to those irresistible Latin beats! While we have salsa on Fridays (and Bachata and Cumbia), we only rarely have that on other nights. Our calendar is always updated, and if it doesn't say salsa, and it isn't a Friday, it isn't salsa.

GoogleFrom out of town and thought it had salsa dancing on Saturday night. Instead there was a special Musical guest. No mention of it on their website or at the door. Spent $140 to get in. Disappointed.

Thank you for sharing your experience, and we’re sorry for the confusion and disappointment. To clarify, Dance Fridays operates on Friday nights only. The Saturday event you attended is produced by a separate promoter, with different programming, pricing, and entertainment, which unfortunately we do not control. We completely understand how frustrating it can be to arrive expecting salsa dancing and find a different type of event instead—especially when visiting from out of town. While we can’t speak to the communication or pricing for that particular Saturday event, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. If you’re ever back in the area on a Friday night, we’d love for you to experience Dance Fridays as intended: salsa and bachata dancing, classes, and live or DJ music dedicated to social dancing. Wishing you safe travels, and thank you again for your feedback. — Dance Fridays Team
