I couldn’t be more grateful for my teens to have a place like this to come to each week, where they learn life and interpersonal skills, make friends, and practice dance along the way. When I first mentioned this class to two teen boys, they both said - very predictably - that there was not chance I can talk them into it. Still, they agreed to give it a try for the free introductory class offered at the start of each season. That was all it took. Since then, they have gained valuable dance skills – which is officially what they go there for, but in the meantime they have also formed amazing friendships, built confidence, refined their manners, and so much more. Most of all, they’ve found a sense of belonging within a community, which, in this day and age of isolation and digital dependance, is particularly precious. Thank you, Mrs. & Mr. Taylor!
