  Ms. Leta is a great dance teacher for all ages. Helped to build a sense of confidence and strength through dance our daughter. Also she makes her own original songs for class which is great!

  My kids have been dancing with Uptown Dance for about 3 years and they love it! They enjoy the classes, making new friends and learning new dances. The highlight is the end of the year showcase.

  Being at uptown means so much to me I started dancing here when I was a child up until I was a teenager and now I have the privilege of watching Ms.Leta teach my daughter at the same age of 5 when I started. I love that this is a family dancing school and that we are practicing growing and learning the art of dance thank you Ms.Leta for all you do for our babies they will be amazing performers!

  Uptown is a pillar of the community! The dancers learn solid technique in a supportive, accessible and uplifting atmosphere. Leta Tavares gets my highest recommendation for her dedication, artistry and positive influence. I also appreciate how Ms. Tavares is always learning and bringing new ideas, techniques and creativity to her programs.

  Beautiful facility. The teachers are well-versed and broad in their skill-set. It’s clear they know that they’re doing. The technique, music and choreography is so varied. They make sure the students get a wide range of ballet, jazz etc. but ESPECIALLY ACROBATICS. And their studio manager is so accommodating and knowledgeable. 10/10 🥰
