GoogleWe love coming to the McKinney studio, Lilly is our instructor and she is so great. She is incredibly patient with my fiance and I. We came in so uncomfortable dancing with each other. We are ending our second program and we may not be world class dancers but we are a lot better then before. Can't wait until to start our wedding program in a couple of weeks. Every instructor here is so polite and talented.

Not only did we achieve that, but we also discovered a shared passion for dance that has kept us coming back ever since. The instructors make learning social dances fun and approachable, and we’ve both gained so much confidence—not only in ourselves but in each other as partners. The entire staff is fantastic, and the sense of community here is truly special. Everyone is welcoming, supportive, and genuinely enjoys dancing. Plus, the events they host are always a blast and give us even more reason to keep coming back. We can’t recommend Fred Astaire McKinney enough!

GoogleI would highly recommend the McKinney location for Fred Astaire Dance Studios to individuals looking to gain a new hobby where they can routinely learn new ways to challenge themselves with steps, styling, and techniques. I would also recommend this location for couples looking to find an activity where they can strengthen their bond with each other while having fun and getting exercise in as well. Our instructor, Lily, is exceptional at providing guidance, direction, and motivation during private instruction. She, and the rest of the staff (Val, Laura, and Oliver) foster a culture within the studio that invites people of any age and background to socialize and connect through a shared love for dance — most evident during the weekly group classes and special events that occur (at least) once a month! I have no regrets in beginning my journey with ballroom dance with Fred Astaire in McKinney and am excited to see where it takes me!
