  Absolutely best dance school in Chicago! Very professional in all age groups! My 4 year old dances here. Inquire about the spring recital tickets even if you don't attend school! It is amazing! Very comparable to the lion king or Hamilton in performances! Amazing!!!

  My daughter's extraordinary journey with Intrigue started at 5 years old, and it's been a truly remarkable adventure. She initially joined for hip hop classes after attending another studio for ballet. Despite Covid's challenges, Mr. Drew kept her engaged with Zoom classes, and they even managed to perform their recital dance with social distancing. His passion for dance ignited a similar love in my daughter. She was invited to join the company the next year, participating in not only rec classes and but also company rehearsals for competitions. Now 11, she's a talented dancer with big dreams. She's inspired by Ms. Pia, a successful Asian dancer and teacher, and aspires to become a professional dancer, teacher, and studio owner herself. The teachers' dedication and the studio's family atmosphere have made Intrigue our second home, fostering lasting friendships. Pia and the teachers there truly deserve immense appreciation for mentoring, motivating, and empowering my daughter's remarkable growth in dancing.

  Be aware of the deposit fee! They try to scam you with “discount price” if you sign up immediately. I ended up paying $750 for 8 classes only. They won’t tell you they will be closed for 2 weeks (Winter break) and still being charged. We didn’t continue to go because my child didn’t learn anything from the hip hop classes. The “instructors” (just college girls) were always late to class. They didn’t go over any techniques. Also we never see the owner in the center as promoted in the TV shows/videos.

  So my grandbaby went to this place and had a wonderful time she was the competition team and was in front of one of her dances!!!!!!!

  I can’t really remember where I heard about Intrigue. I believe it was online. I started back in October 2024 around my 57th birthday. I got it in my head that I wanted to dance, hip hop of all things. Hilarious, as I think back now, I was like a beached whale flopping around. I heard a little voice that said, “girl you made a big mistake”. But I’ve never been one for giving up easily. I love the challenge of a mountain climb. It’s February now and I can at least sort of keep up with the young’ins. Maybe not as beautifully. lol Full disclosure, I did join a gym to kind of get myself in better cardio shape and that has really helped. I’m retired now and I really love the classes at intrigue because they challenge me with something new. It makes my brain work harder to figure things out. The teachers are super helpful with making things clear and literally there’s no judgement, well maybe a little of my own. I give Intrigue 5 stars and recommend it to kids of all ages.

  Kids are very friendly but the admin take your money when your kids are not in school. Tuition pause is only monthly. So when u miss half a month here and there, you still end up paying the full price and it's not negotiable. They know working parents are not going to send kids to all classes so prepare to be overcharged.
