GoogleThe studio is okay overall — not terrible, but not amazing either. Some of the instructors are genuinely helpful and energetic, but others seem like they’re just going through the motions and don’t really care about the students. The classes run on time and the space is fine, but it feels a bit hit-or-miss depending on who’s teaching. If you’re looking for something casual, it works, but if you’re serious about improving, you might want to look around at other options too.

There are a number of dance options in Chicago but I really value Latin Street and keep coming back. The instructors are all so approachable, FUN, and helpful in learning moves, building upon them, and being aware of musicality. I have had such positive interactions with each of them and would recommend them all, but I do have to say - Yanira is just someone I look up to so much as a dancer. She has so much to offer and teach and somehow she also presents herself so humbly and beautiful all at once. #goals Those that work admin have worked with me with my changing schedule and I value their patience with me So much! So much. I definitely have been blessed by Latin Street and I would recommend this school.

GoogleI love this place. I have such a great experience every week here. I still have a lot to learn as a dancer, but now I actually enjoy the struggle of learning, slowly improving, and facing my limitations. It feels like a true adult milestone. The teachers and other students are kind, helpful, and welcoming. Sometimes when everyone is in sync and the material is clicking, there is a euphoria that takes over the room. I've danced with people of all ages, all backgrounds, and from all parts of the world here. I only wish I had starting taking classes sooner.
