  Having never danced in my life, attending Zach & Rachel’s group classes, and working with them 1:1, they’ve made dance super fun and have helped me gain the confidence to get out there on the dance floor! The community that they’ve built is talented and super welcoming. Couldn’t recommend better people to dance with!

  Highly recommend. Everyone here is amazing. They even hold dance lessons out in the community several times a week which are a lot of fun, and you learn a lot.

  Zach and Rachel are outstanding instructors. They create a comfortable learning environment where you can improve without ever feeling criticized. I’ve progressed quickly thanks to their ability to polish the details and clearly explain how to lead in West Coast Swing. They’re especially skilled at breaking down the finer points that make the dance smoother and more fluid.

  We did private lessons at Zach and Rachel Dance Studio leading up to our wedding, and it truly ended up being one of the best choices we made during the entire planning process. From the very first lesson, the experience felt welcoming, relaxed, and fun—exactly what we needed in the middle of wedding chaos. We worked with Rachel, and she is the kind of instructor who instantly puts you at ease. She’s so personable, kind, and encouraging, and she has a gift for meeting you exactly where you are. We came in with little to no dance experience, and instead of ever feeling awkward or behind, we felt supported and capable. Rachel took time to ask what we wanted our first dance to feel like—what style we liked, what we were comfortable with, and what kind of “moment” we wanted to create. Then she took our ideas and turned them into something that felt so natural to us as a couple. What we appreciated most was how clearly she taught. She didn’t just show us steps—she explained how to achieve the look and feel we wanted, broke everything down into manageable pieces, and gave us practical tips that made a huge difference. Each lesson built on the last in a way that felt organized but never overwhelming. And honestly, she made it fun the entire time. We went from feeling nervous about our first dance to actually looking forward to practicing together. By the end, we didn’t just have a first dance we felt confident about—we also walked away with extra fun dances and moves we could use at the reception and at future events. That was such an unexpected bonus, and it made the lessons feel even more valuable. Zach and Rachel Dance Studio has clearly cultivated a space that’s perfect for people who “know nothing” but want to feel confident and look great on the big day. It’s welcoming, judgment-free, and genuinely uplifting. We truly can’t thank Rachel (and the studio) enough for helping make our wedding experience even more special. These lessons started as “wedding prep,” but they turned into something we actually enjoy doing together—and we’re so excited to keep taking lessons because it’s now become a fun hobby we share. Highly, highly recommend!

  I thoroughly enjoy Zach and Rachel’s classes. They effectively break down the steps for leads and followers, catering to both partnered and solo participants. The sessions are consistently engaging and informative. e! I would recommend their classes to all of my friends and family.
