  Afinke is such a special place. I’m always genuinely happy every time I take class here, both as a student and as a teacher. The energy in the studio is warm, inspiring, and supportive, and the students bring such a beautiful vibe to every class. It truly feels like a community where everyone is encouraged to grow, and I’m very grateful to be part of it

  Eleanee Jimenez is not only an extremely talented dancer and choreographer: she also directs a uniquely friendly and fun dance studio that welcomes all comers, whether beginners new to salsa and bachata or seasoned performers. She has built a great community with the Afinke dance company as well as superb dance performance teams. I highly recommend Afinke and its instructors to all who want to learn latin dance as solo dancers or for partner work. See you there!

  I’ve had the benefit of taking lessons at Afinke dance studio on and off since Fall 2020. I’ve also had the privilege of being a part of 3 of their performance teams which have challenged me in the best of ways and pushed me to be a better dancer! Eleanee, the owner is wonderful! I’ve witnessed a lot of ego in the dance world, but Eleanee’s stand out characteristics are her humility, sense of humor, fun energy, patience, and belief in letting her students shine bright! I highly recommend Afinke, especially for those looking to learn and grow in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
