The Johannesburg Afro-Latin Festival launched March 2018 at Venue Thirteen, Braamfontein, Johannesburg. The first annual event welcomed artists and guests from across Africa and Europe with music and dance workshops, international standard shows, seminars and promoted African heritage dance and music as well as modern African dance culture.
