My first Salsa experience was wonderful! Great teachers, that really break things down but they moved the class along and after 6 weeks I feel much more confident in my dancing! Highly recommend! Update, I took the class again as a refresher and had even more fun!

What an excellently paced class! I was a complete newbie to salsa, dance classes, and partner dancing in general, but the instructors Chris and Jessica were super welcoming and very knowledgeable on how to best support my learning. I attended the beginning salsa classes solo, which was no problem since it was a friendly and respectful atmosphere where we consistently switched partners and there was always multiple instructors that knew how to teach leading and following.

What a fun class! My wife Naomi and I enjoyed the dancing, the learning, the group and overall the fun. Homework was great and every week we learned more, advanced a bit, and put in place a good foundation for both dancing better and appreciating salsa music more. Highly recommend.

My wife, Erin, and I had a fantastic experience with Salsa Gente. Chris, Jessica, and Laura provided clear instruction as well as the space to practice and learn from experience. The lessons were also a fun and collaborative atmosphere that we looked forward to each week. Highly recommend!

Salsa Gente Any class is only as good as its teachers, and Jessica & Chris are truly exceptional. I’m not usually one to write reviews, but this was one of the best courses I’ve ever taken. They are passionate, knowledgeable instructors who radiate welcoming warmth & wisdom. Their instruction is clear, intelligent, and easy to follow, with plenty of practice time built in. Even as a complete novice, I felt supported, confident, and genuinely excited to learn. Their love of Cuban music is infectious, and their energy makes every class pure joy. Fun for the body and the soul! Highly recommend!

This class was super fun! Jessica and Chris are masters of their salsa craft, and they loved sharing their enthusiasm and skill with us. They explained and demonstrated each step, and they broke it down to show us the nuances that really made the difference between klutzy and smooth. Then they had us practice, practice, practice, rotating partners at a lively pace. This worked so well, because I learned a little something from each partner. Within just a few minutes, I went from “sort of” getting it in my head to really feeling it in my body. These teachers are solid gold!
