About the night

As successor to the most traditional milonga in the Rhine-Main region ('Milonga am Mittwoch'), it now takes place on Thursdays as Noche Azul. Rotating DJs provide an excellent, traditional selection of music. The dance level is generally good to excellent, but ambitious newcomers willing to adapt to the flow of the dance floor are of course also welcome.

Guests should know how inviting works via mirada and cabeceo. When entering the ronda — after roughly the first twenty seconds of the tanda — please make eye contact with the leader of the couple you want to merge in front of, and only enter afterward. Don't hesitate (there's more space ahead than you'd expect from the couples present). Don't crowd (don't get so close to the couple dancing ahead that a turn or step back could cause a collision).
