Getting started with Bailar

Bailar is a free app that lives on iOS and Android. Once it's in the stores, here's the two-minute setup:

1. Install the app

Download Bailar from the App Store or Google Play. Open it — you'll be asked to pick your language, allow location, and sign in with Apple, Google, or a phone number. No email/password forms.

2. Pick your styles

Tell us what you dance. Pick as many as you like — salsa on-1, salsa on-2, bachata, kizomba, reggaeton, merengue, or any of the 25 styles we support. You can change this any time from Profile → Settings.

3. Set your city

By default we use your location. You can override — search a city in Profile → Location settings to browse events and studios somewhere else.

4. Find your first social

Tap Events in the bottom tab bar. The default is tonight & this weekend near you. Tap a card to see the venue, the door time, the cover, the dance styles, and who else is going. Hit RSVP to say you're in.

What if Bailar isn't live in my city yet?

We cover all 50 states — but some smaller markets have thinner coverage. If you don't see many events, email support@bailar.site with your city and we'll prioritize crawling it.
