We took some dance lessons with Talysa at the jtballroom Studio to put together a first dance for our wedding in April, and we truly can’t recommend her enough - she was totally incredible, super talented, and made the whole process loads of fun and helped us get some really unforgettable photos and memories on the night. The studio space in Annandale was also really nice and had a relaxed atmosphere. We initially weren’t sure about doing a first dance because it seemed like another thing that would just end up stressing us out, but even though we are far from naturally gifted in the dancing department, it all came together so well on the night and we really have Talysa to thank for that. If you’re on the fence about a first wedding dance - or just want to try something new and fun - definitely book in a few lessons at jtballroom Studio and you won’t regret it!!

Thank you guys, it was truly an honour to help you prepare for your wedding dance. You were both fantastic to work with, and the process was just as fun for me too. Not to mention you picked a killer song! It was incredible to see you guys transition from first-time dancers to rocking it on the dance floor on your wedding night. Well done 🙂 Hopefully we'll see you back in the studio for some more dancing when you're all settled into married life.

I’ve been with Jonathan and Talysa for a few years now and not only are they amazing dancers themselves, they are brilliant and approachable teachers. Incredibly knowledgeable and able to break down complex concepts into smaller parts, I walk away from every private lesson or group class with something new to think about and work on. Cannot recommend JTBallroom more highly!

That's very kind of you Brodan, thank you. It's been very rewarding for us teaching you to dance and to see all of your progress over the last few years. You have embraced all the challenges of learning and competing as a ballroom dancer and come out a stronger dancer every time, never losing your passion for dance a long the way. We look forward to continuing our lessons and friendship together.
