What dancers say

  • My partner and I have been doing private lessons here for the past few months. Our curriculum is quite varied, covering Bachata, Fox Trot, Salsa, Swing, and Tango. The team at Arthur Murray San Francisco made us feel very welcome right from the beginning, and our teacher, Aranza, in particular, is so supportive and really breaks things down to the level where it's easy for us beginners to soak it up. On the couple of days when Aranza wasn't available, we still had great experiences with Michael and Jim, which is a testament to the depth of the team there! I would definitely recommend Arthur Murray San Francisco to anyone who is looking to learn how to dance from the ground up.

  • Highly recommend this place for any amount of interest in ballroom dancing. As a beginner this has been such a supportive and collaborative place to learn. The teachers are student centered and knowledgeable on how to help you reach your dance goals. Also didn’t know how amazing the community of people/dancers would be here! Such a bonus!!

  • AMSF is not only a place to simply learn ballroom technique (which you certainly will do in a fun and supportive environment, ) but also to get a great workout, make new friends and to destress. Special shout out to Jim Kramer, who is the most dedicated and fantastic instructor with whom I’ve ever had the pleasure to dance.
