  My name is Kim and I have been taking private dance lessons (International Ballroom and American Smooth) with Ruslan, who happens to be the best instructor in South Florida, for almost 3 years. I also take American Rythm private lessons with Stas at Fred Astaire. He is an amazing teacher! Besides being a fantastic instructors, we have gone to numerous competitions and been quite successful! If you want to experience the joy of dancing you will not find a better studio or dance teachers than Ruslan and Stas at Fred Astaire Imperial Point!!!!

  I am SO happy I booked a package with Fred Astaire for my Dad & I leading up to my wedding! Dubraska choreographed our father-daughter dance to one of our favorite Buena Vista Social Club songs. The piece was fast paced & upbeat, so I wasn’t sure what we (complete beginners) would be capable of. But Dubraska worked literal magic! The combination of private lessons, group classes & the practice performance gave us all the confidence we needed for the big day. My favorite part was having the reason to spend quality time with my Dad! My Mom & brother even were welcomed to join in on the group classes. It was a joy for our whole family! Plus we have a great new skill set. I also want to mention the sweet community at this studio. The owner Kennedy is delightful. Our fellow students were warm & inviting. You can really see the life-changing benefits of dance at work!

  My now husband and I chose Fred Astaire Dance Studio at Imperial Point to practice our first dance for our wedding. Dubraska was great! Everyone at the studio was so friendly and helpful. Kennedy was helpful too and even recommended a makeup artist for my wedding, who worked out perfectly! We can’t wait to watch our wedding video with our choreographed dance. ☺️ Thank you, Dubraska! 🥰

  I have been taking dance lessons and competing with Ruslan Meshkov, owner of Fred Astaire Imperial Point for 11 years, he is an excellent instructor and a wonderful person. Last October I started taking lessons with Stas in Rhythm, he is also an excellent instructor. The other staff members, Kennedy and Dubraska are also great. The atmosphere is very happy and upbeat, beautiful studio! They cater to every level beginner to open gold amateur everyone is welcome. I look forward to many more years of dancing at this studio.   I have been a student at this studio for almost two years. Not once in my life did I ever believe that I could dance. Fortunately for me, Fred Astaire Imperial Point has the best instructors in all of South Florida. Not only have I consistently progressed, but my instructors have helped me to participate in 3 Mini Matches, 2 Showcases, and 2 regional competitions in such a short period of time!! Besides the private lessons, we have great group practices, fun social practice dances and even guest coaches that are so knowledgeable!!! Not only does Fred Astaire Imperial Point have the most accomplished instructors it has also allowed me to meet and become part of the most fabulous community of fellow students!! Come and join us, you will not regret it!!
