  We worked with Andrey at Ballroom Dance in NYC to choreograph our first dance for our black-tie, 150-person wedding on Long Island, and the experience was outstanding. While the studio is a bit unassuming (located in a personal gym space within an apartment complex), it was actually perfect for practice, with a wall-to-wall mirror that helped us learn and see how we looked in real time. Andrey is an excellent teacher who adjusts his style to each person and uses silly but effective analogies that make everything click while keeping it fun. We did the 10-lesson package, which I highly recommend—each session built on the last while still introducing new skills. I also used one lesson for my father-daughter dance, which was incredibly helpful. Andrey’s wedding expertise really sets him apart. He shared tips to calm nerves, look great in photo-ready moments, and even gave pep talks as my husband was nervous about dancing in front of friends. He also taught us Hustle moves we could use throughout the night. Neither of us is naturally graceful, yet Andrey made us feel confident and look good. We loved working with him and plan to continue with dance-lesson date nights. Highly recommend if you want personal attention and real results—especially compared to franchise studios.

  If you need a dance instructor to help you for your wedding, you can stop looking now, Andrey is your guy. He’s a great listener and teacher. We aren’t great dancers, but with Andrey’s help, we now have a routine for our first dance that we are very happy with. Most importantly, we had a lot of fun, and we have a lot of confidence ahead of our big day.

  Andrey was an incredible instructor! My fiancé and I weren’t sure what to expect going in, and as complete beginners, we needed a lot of guidance. In just five lessons, Andrey took us from simply learning to move to the beat to performing a full choreographed dance—complete with lifts and dips! Every class left us in a better mood than when we arrived. It was such a fun and rewarding experience to work on something together before our wedding—we both felt so accomplished and proud. Andrey is a truly talented teacher who tailors his approach to each couple. He was especially great at keeping things light and helping me refocus whenever I got frustrated. We’ll really miss our Sunday nights with him, but we can’t wait to show off our choreography on the big day! I can’t recommend him enough!!

  Andrey did a fantastic job preparing us for our wedding first dance in just five lessons. He is a great communicator who helps you build a foundation while working with your ideas for the dance. We will be back for more lessons in the future.
