  Did the WCS basic 1 and an absolutely incredible studio, with awesome instructors We learnt basic moves and rotated partners to practice with everyone in the room Would recommend to everyone and look forward to coming again

  My 3-1/2 year old “heart of heart” (granddaughter) just had the most fun at at Rachel Baird’s 3 year old dance trial dance class at the Big Apple Ballroom, right in Chelsea. Her mother says she can’t stop talking about it! You could tell that Rachel loved this age group. Check it out — Ask about a trial class!”

  We can't recommend Big Apple Ballroom enough!! We worked with Enxhi on creating our first dance and she listened to exactly what we wanted, making sure to add in adjustments based on our feedback. She made lessons easy and patiently walked us through each step, explaining everything in a digestible way. She truly made our first dance so magical and we received so many compliments from our guests on how great it was! Our DJ even started our music early, but because we had prepared for all different situations during the lessons, we felt so comfortable getting back on track. If you're thinking about taking dance lessons for your first dance, definitely reach out to Big Apple Ballroom!

  Joe and I were looking for a local studio to take some dance classes before our wedding. We were hoping to learn a few classic steps to string together a non choreographed, but noteworthy first dance. Christian was our instructor and he was absolutely incredible. Our first dance felt natural, and we had so much fun going to the studio each week to practice.

  From my heart to my not-so twinkle toes, once I or anyone else steps on the floor there is a welcoming joyous vibe that fills the air:) I have been fortunate enough to have attended 1 Private Lesson, the Sunday Beginners Social Ballroom Group classes and the Dance Parties. These incredible teachers glide us through each one with grace and patience. After I left there, I was practicing the steps on the subway platform:) The Dance Party events have turned my friends' and my two left feet into friends too for those few unforgettable and fun filled hours. Thank you, Big Apple Ballroom, I hope to see you soon:)
