My fiancé and I took a private beginner class with DJ Juanchata and had a wonderful experience. He broke down the basics in a way that was easy to follow, engaging, and fun. By the end of the lesson, we were dancing to a full song, which felt like a huge accomplishment as beginners. The class felt personalized and comfortable throughout. We’re looking forward to taking more lessons with him to learn merengue and would definitely recommend him to anyone interested in learning to dance.

    Response from LDX Latin Dance

Thank you so much, Karla! It was such a pleasure working with you and your fiancé. I’m really glad you both felt comfortable and enjoyed the private beginner class — and dancing to a full song by the end is a big win! That’s always the goal. I’m excited to help you both continue with merengue and keep building your skills here in Renton. Looking forward to seeing you again soon!

DJ Juanchata just made my year—nay, my decade! 🎉 Along with his amazing teammate, DJ Maracas, he had the honor (and serious talent) of teaching our party crew cumbia and bachata at my 50th birthday bash. Not only did DJ Juanchata keep the vibes flowing nonstop, he broke down the steps so effortlessly that everyone—yes, everyone—hit the dance floor with confidence, flair, and a whole lot of pizzazz. The laughter, joy, and pure fun made it all the more memorable, and this celebration simply wouldn’t have been the same without the incredible DJs from LDX Latin Dance. We are definitely going to have them over again!

    Response from LDX Latin Dance

Thank you so much, Priya! That celebration was unforgettable! Your energy and your guests made it such a fun night for all of us. I’m really glad everyone enjoyed learning cumbia and bachata, and it was awesome seeing the whole group out on the dance floor! Huge thanks from both of us — we’d love to be part of your next party again here in the Renton/Seattle area!
