  Salsa wave is THE PLACE to bring your feet, or in my case my two left feet to learn bachata and salsa dancing. I scheduled a private lesson with Marina to dip my toe into the water. I wanted to learn, yet I was very self conscious about my lack of coordination and rhythm. Instantly Marina’s teaching skills and kind nature put every worry I had to rest. I enjoyed the experience so much that I took more private lessons and eventually had the confidence to join her group classes. Now that I’m a regular I see new students coming in on a regular basis and they have a great time and come back week after week. If you are looking to learn social dancing, get some great excercise through movement, meet fun people in a community setting I would 10 out of 10 recommend. If you are not a beginner and want to really sharpen up your existing dance skills or try this type of dance Marina is such an accomplished artist that you should definitely check her out. I can’t say enough good things about my experience here <3. Worth every penny.

  A fantastic bachata and salsa class for all skill levels. I started solo as a complete beginner. The instructor Marina is extremely knowledgable and kind, and the community in the class was instantly welcoming. If you've had the urge to learn, this is the place to do it.

  Marina is such a great and patient teacher. I am so hooked on her bachata classes and just started salsa as well. I wish I could dance with her every night of the week! The other students are super friendly and encouraging. It’s a really nice group of people that she brought together to learn to dance with each other. Highly recommended!!

  My husband and I has been searching for the right place to learn bachata, trying out a few studios but feeling like we needed something different. Then one day, a social media post about a local bachata class caught our eye and we couldn’t wait to check it out. That’s how we met Maryna in May 2024 and we’ve been dancing ever since. Maryna is an incredibly talented, well versed instructor who makes every class fun and easy to follow. With her patient guidance and clear step by step teaching, we’ve quickly improved and now feel confident dancing at socials and even our trips to the Dominican Republic. The atmosphere at Salsa Wave is warm and welcoming, with friendly students who share the same love of bachata and salsa. We’re so happy to be part of the Salsa Wave family and grateful to have found such a wonderful, inspiring instructor.

  Marina is an amazing teacher and has created a very welcoming environment at Salsa Wave. I never thought I’d be performing publicly but thanks to her patience and encouragement I have participated in two performances so far 😊
