“Sensual City has ignited my passion for Bachata Sensual. I do not live in Philly but I drop in every time I am in town. The instructor is hard working, passionate, and very serious about improving dancers. I would certainly recommend having some beginner experience before engaging in the material that the classes offer. Without at least a basic idea of/knowing the basics it can be very difficult to get into Sensual Bachata. I’ve really enjoyed the learning style but go into this with an open mind and open to constructive criticism. It’s not a place for sugar coating and honestly that is why I felt I improved so much faster. Stick with it and you will see improvement. The instructor evaluates you on a personal level and will tell you straight up what your deficiencies and areas for improvement/growth are. It may not be for everyone but I couldn’t imagine how much I would grow as a dancer in a short amount of time. I still have a long way to go, but my path feels so much clearer and I cannot wait to attend the next class.”

I live three hours away now and it’s still worth it for me to drive all the way to Sensual City for workshops! I did workshops for a few weeks without having gone social dancing, and the next time I went social dancing I could immediately tell how much I had improved. Finally, it’s a really supportive environment. I was recovering from a muscle injury and they took extra time to give me suggestions and encouragement. Strongly recommend!”
