Minneapolis Salsa Bachata Dance

My partner surprised me with a free class + the paid hour for date night. It was so worth it and fun! The instructors broke it down and we both felt like we learned so much from our first time. Would also be great to go back and continue to build on what we learned. I also think solo folks should feel comfortable going, there were opportunities to dance with various different people.

As a solo introvert who has never had a dance class, I was apprehensive, but their staffer at the door was welcoming and I was grateful for the encouraging and positive energy from all 3 instructors I had. The free 30min absolute beginner class was simple enough for even me to follow, but was also enough that I was able to learn from the 1 hour regular beginner class immediately after. I admire their teaching system (not that I've taken any other dance classes). Specifically the way they have you frequently high five and switch partners. This greatly reduced the social stress and allowed more focus on learning the technique. I am grateful to the instructors for their skills in dancing AND teaching and I plan to come back. (And if they do the leading by fingertips exercise, you're in for a treat.)
