  Salsa Sensation is the best! I started as a newbie and have progressed so much in only 3 months. Johann is an amazing teacher. She breaks down all the steps and shows you how to dance even with zero experience. And it's a very welcoming class all the students help and support each other. Amazing place to learn salsa or bachata whether you're experienced or a beginner.

  About a year ago, I decided to signup for salsa classes. I’ve always enjoyed dancing at parties, but salsa was a style I never felt confident dancing. So I decided it was time to take on the challenge and finally learn. Signing up for classes at Salsa Sensation was one of the best decisions I’ve made. It’s a great studio for beginners and the environment is welcoming. Thursday nights are always a vibe - and it’s all because of Omar. I’ve been training with Omar for a year now. In his classes, you can expect patient guidance and thorough drilling of different salsa patterns to really help you understand the movements. The class atmosphere is kind and supportive - no question is ever too dumb and asking to repeat patterns until you got it is always encouraged. You can expect a great time in his classes. His outgoing, playful personality keeps the energy flowing through class. Whether you sign up for his beginner or open-level classes you won’t regret it!

  I’ve started dancing salsa about a year and a half ago, and Salsa Sensation studio has become my home away from home. I started taking Thursday classes with Omar after about a year of salsa classes and it has been one of the most transformative experiences of my dance journey. He doesn’t just teach step, he teaches salsa with integrity, history, and deep respect for its roots. Being in his presence constantly reminds you that salsa is more than choreography; it’s culture, rhythm, and legacy. Not just steps, but a feeling. What sets Omar apart is his belief in his students. He saw potential in me before I fully saw it in myself. His confidence in me pushed me to train harder, refine my details, and pursue excellence instead of comfort. That kind of mentorship changes you - not just as a dancer, but as a person. Omar has a rare gift for meeting you exactly where you are. Whether you’re brand new or experienced, he knows how to challenge you without breaking you. His feedback is honest, specific, and rooted in growth. He cares deeply about Salsa as a whole. the music, the culture, the technique, the discipline. You can feel that in every class. He teaches with purpose, passion, and accountability. I am a stronger, more grounded, and a more intentional dancer because of him. And I’m grateful every day to be learning under someone who honors salsa as such. If you truly want to grow - not just memorize moves, but transform, training with Omar will challenge you, elevate you, and remind you why you fell in love with Salsa in the first place.

  When I first started at Salsa Sensation, I truly didn’t know how to dance at all. I started from the bottom — no rhythm, no technique, just nerves and a willingness to try. Over the course of a year, the improvement I’ve seen in myself is honestly amazing. Salsa has become such a big part of my life. It’s more than just a class now — it’s something I look forward to every week. It’s built my confidence, challenged me, and pushed me outside of my comfort zone in the best way. A huge reason for that growth is my instructor, Omar. I love how he drills everything. We don’t just learn a move once and move on — he makes sure we really understand it, clean it up, and own it. That repetition has helped me improve so much. He’s patient, detailed, and truly wants his students to get better. If you think you “can’t dance,” I promise you I was that person. A year later, I’m dancing with confidence — and it’s all thanks to the structure, community, and dedication at Salsa Sensation. Highly recommend!!
