• “I've attended Artista Studio before its inception since I found Annaliza teaching a class at the community center 3 years ago. I have been taking salsa, bachata , Latin fitness , and choreography class for a while now since Annaliza opened her own studio in 2023. I even got the VIP season pass which allows me to take all her classes . I am not an experience dancer like some others but after taking Annaliza’s class I learnt how to move better . Besides the beautiful hip swaying, articulated fingers, and hair-ography technique, I like the fact that Annaliza solicits our feedback for new dance ideas. Just last week, she added lesson in Rumba and Tango, which was really exciting since those were new dances to me. After been taking classes with Artista for the past few years, I feel like they the people here are an extended family. I have enjoyed the way she accommodates newbies and then as we progress she challenges us with new routines and more complex steps and spins. Often she reviews the basics to ensure our technique with arms, hips and footing is correct and it certainly makes a difference. I especially like her music choices and her choreography and style is beautiful. Annaliza is an excellent teacher and dancer!”

• “As a dancer, I like the little details in the artistry. Annalisa is very artistic. Her choreography is stylish, challenging and unique. Her musicality is strong. The best part about her class is that you don't need a partner to dance here. Most Latin classes are oriented towards partner interactions, but her class allows a person to dance solo or use her style in a partnership. The warmup exercises repeats to allow students to perfect different dimensions of the dance. By repeating the basics in the warmup sequence each week, a new focus is chosen to hone in on: one week it could be the arms, another week is the hips, footwork, etc... The students here are inclusive. There is a caring community feel to it. Although, I joined here with a few close friends that I brought with me; however, I found making new friends here quite easy.”
