  Learning to dance has never been as easy, fun and affordable as with The Salsa Connection team. Four wonderful and extremely kind professionals teaching us in each class. It doesn’t matter what your level is there is a class to match it and in the highest level we learn lots of technique to improve our style and movement. I don’t mind driving from Norfolk to Richmond every week to share time either these wonderful teachers and classmates. Love it!

  Instructors are AWESOME as are the socials! So much value for the class I purchased and worth the weekly hour drive!

  Amazing beginner classes! Instructors are FAB and teaching methods and class breakdown is the perfect progression for beginners!

  Wow! I briefly took lessons here before I met my husband 5+ years ago. I thought instructors were nice and professional. The staff who taught the introductory sessions were very personable. Until I ran unto the lead advanced salsa instructor and his 'partner' at Whole Foods today and received a nasty snarl for a greeting. This occurred several times throughout the store. I was thoroughly shocked. Elitist big fish in the small pond of the Richmond Salsa community.....Larger cities have much more welcoming dance communities, and with live music. Austin is a superb example. But then Charlottesville also has a much more welcoming community. ~~~~~~~~ I received a response from the 'owner', with no name attached. Apparently none of the instructors "recalled" the encounter. No surprise that. The lesson here is: Take lessons here and be treated well, cease taking lessons and hope you don't run into them again. While none of our instructors recall any interactions while shopping at Whole Foods, we would love to hear from you.   I can't say enough about Salsa Connection they are very professional and technical. They pinpointed what I was doing wrong and it helped so much that I got a clearer understanding of my basic steps. They are the best in the area in my opinion.
